Punjab government has issued free laptops for students, around 100000 laptops has been issued with the free Ubuntu 11.10 operating system. What a good idea it can be if windows 7 or Windows XP operating system should be provided with these laptops. Blue screen errors, windows automatic restart are the issues with Shahbaz Sharif’s laptops while installing Windows on Dell Inspiron N4050.

How to install Windows Operating System on Shahbaz Sharif’s Dell N4050.
Install Windows on Shahbaz Sharif Laptop
To install Windows Operating System on Shahbaz Sharif’s Laptops follow these steps.
- Go to Aptio Bios Setup by Pressing F2
- In Bios Setup Move to Advanced.
- Then move to the “SATA OPERATION “
- Change ACHI to ATA. In “SATA OPERATION“
- Then you will see a Warning select Yes.
- Then click on Exit and select “save changes and Reset”
After this insert your Windows Xp or Windows 7 CD to install the Windows On Shahbaz Sharif Youth Scheme laptop.
After Installing Windows 7 Download the Drivers for Windows 7 Below

Shahzad problem is that above software not works for windows xp and i m not sure that it also works for win 7 but issue is that we are looking for vga , audio and lan drivers that works for windows xp OS not for win 7..

i have changed it from AHCI to ATA but still having trouble installing windows 7. after intstallation a blue screen still appears saying your bios is not fully compliant with acpi

Open Device Manager and expand the list under Computer.
Does it say ACPI PC (or maybe: ACPI Multiprocessor PC)? Is there a ! or X next to the entry?

Solution:

first of all you have to purchase a non activated windows 7 cd or dvd from market, and install it you don’t need to change your sata mode ahci to ata.

AOA! It is not working. When I install the windows 7 CD in my laptop. Then all drivers are install successfully. When i install the windows 7 dvd in my laptop. Then some are installed successfully and some are not. My main problem is vga driver. Sent me by my mail always_abdullah@yahoo.com
