The new entry test syllabus and model papers for entry test 2011-2012, prepared by a task force of faculty teachers of F.Sc and non-F.Sc schemes of education and finalized by the Admission Board for public sector medical and dental institutions, more emphasis has been put on the component of biomedical sciences.  As per University of Health Sciences, a UHS spokesman told in the press release that the syllabus and model papers of Entrance Test 2011  had been made available online at www.uhs.edu.pk

 

UHS Syllabus and Model Papers for Entrance Test (Entry Test, MCAT) 2011 for Admission to MBBS / BDS in Medical and Dental Colleges of Punjab Conducted by University of Health Sciences UHS Lahore Pakistan. The Entrance test aka UHS entry test will consist of 220 multiple choice questions (MCQs), each question carrying five marks. There will be five sections of the question paper i.e. Physics (44 MCQs), Chemistry (44 MCQs), English (22 MCQs), Biology (88 MCQs) and Aptitude (22 MCQs). Negative marking will continue as to restrain students from unintelligent guesswork in the test. One mark will be deducted from the total score on each wrong answer. Total time allowed for the test is 150 minutes.

The validity of the entry test syllabus is via UHS website. The Entry Test 2011 shall consist of 220 multiple choice questions (MCQs) which include:

• Chemistry (44 MCQs)
• English (22 MCQs)
• Biology (88 MCQs)
• Aptitude (22 MCQs)
